Welcome to Brittany - Its a fabulous place all year round.

Brittany is a very rural area and our house is 20Km from Josselyn, 10Km from Pontivy and 70Km from Rennes. The coast is just over an hour away to the south and the roads are great. Traffic is normally light but in the summer it does get busy, especially towards the coast. 

Rohan is more of  a village than a town and it is within walking distance form the house (just down the hill). There is a boulangerie in the town square where they sell delicious pastries, croissants, bread etc. How good is your French ? If its good, bad or non existent it does not matter as long as you try and the boulangerie is a great place to start.
