There are many places to eat in the area from small cafe’s, patisseries and restaurants. Here we will list some of those that we have ourselves visited.

Le Petit Tonneau

This is a pizza restaurant and is the closest restaurant to the house. It takes just a matter of minutes to reach the restaurant.You have to check on the opening times. As with many restaurants in the area you cannot take it for granted that the restaurant is open and pre-booking is always best

La Gavotte

This restaurant is in the heart of Rohan and can also be accessed from the canal. The restaurant is typical French and serves an array of popular dishes. Steak & frites are our favourites here though they do very good galettes and crepes. Again like most restaurants its advisable to book, particularly at the weekend when the restaurant is normally very busy. The restaurant is very popular with the locals.

La Clauchette

La Clauchette is situated in Credin which is just 4Km from the house. The restaurant is owned and managed by a couple from the UK. The food is good and very competativly priced. It is best to book in advance. The restaurant is open from Thursday to Sunday BUT it is closed in the summer months and in the winter months also.

La Table D'or

This restaurant is very good. Its expensive and it’s a treat to eat at this restaurant. The menu is written in French and although extensive it pays to go through some of the offerings with the head waiter. The view from this restaurant is also wonderful though you have to pick a nice night and book a table on the outside veranda.

L''Eau Ouest

This restaurant is near the town lake in Rohan and is very close to where the house is. The restaurant has just been taken into new hands and we have been told hat it is very good indeed. We have yet to try. The restaurant MUST be booked.
